If God ordained whatsoever comes to pass, does that mean he ordained Adam’s fall as well?

Codex W (late fourth or early fifth century) is an early manuscript which contains the verse, as do Codex D (fifth century), Codex N and Σ (both sixth century), Codex E (eighth century), and Codex F, H, K, and Δ (all ninth century). Uncial 078 (sixth century) is damaged where this verse would be, but based on the available space and the size of the letters, it is believed that this manuscript probably once contained the verse as well. The verse is also present in the majority of medieval Greek manuscripts. The majority of Old Latin and Vulgate manuscripts contain the verse, including some that date back to the fourth and fifth centuries. The fifth-century Syriac Curetonian Gospels affirm the reading, as do the later Syriac Peshitta manuscripts. It is also found in the Armenian and Georgian texts. So, this verse certainly existed in some copies in the fourth century (at least in Latin and possibly in Greek). It is absent in Vaticanus & Sinaiticus and translations that use Westcott & Hort underlying Greek Text as their source. It is present in virtually all the least corrupted manuscripts containing the least corrections. It would be fair to say if it is present your Bible did use the most accurate, but not the most ancient manuscripts. The fact that it sets up the story of a shepherd losing then finding a single lost sheep, testifies that its presence is contextually verifying.

The question is ,who is the Lost? If you're not an Israelite the son of man didn't come to rescue you. He is sent to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. And I'm quite sure that book has more than one missing verse just like the NIV and others. Matthew 15:24 [24]But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matthew 10:5-7 [5]These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: [6]But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. [7]And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. If any of my Hebrew brothers and sisters being guided by book with missing verses or another Nation. Get out. What does the Bible say about adding or taking away from scripture. Revelation 22:18-19 [18]For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: [19]And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

This is a true translation to the missing verse as written in " Matthew 18:11_For the son of Adam comes to save that which was lost." Adam's son (a seed thru a woman) that was Jesus the son of man came to restore what Adam lost. Glory & praise to our Almighty Father Elohim that we thru faith in the Son Jesus HaMashiach now have received EVERLASTING LIFE.

There are over 5800 greek new testament manuscripts that were written in antiquity, there is an enormous amount of debate as to which ones of these translations are the most accurate. In my Opinion, To accept the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus text which were found in the trash can of the Vaticans library and tout them as the most accurate texts- as many scholars do, is in my opinion ludicrous. The fact that many of the missing texts in the Newer manuscripts, that are found in the Textus Receptus are found in their entirety in the writings by the pre-nicene fathers gives great reason to doubt the veracity of these newer post 1900AD translations that we are seeing so much of today. Your opinion is valid, read the bible that you have, as Ronald Reagan so aptly said, trust but verify.

@Tor Really?! 🤨Let me and my modern translation reading friends PROPERLY educate you. Please read the following: When you set the KJV as the standard to judge the other translations then it may seem that the NIV has “removed” verses and “changed” words and meanings. But the reality is and the FACT is, when you look at all the evidence, when you put aside these wild accusations against Westcott and Hort and the publishers of the modern versions, you come to find out that a lot of the verses that are in the KJV and earlier Reformation text Bibles, like the Geneva and the work of William Tyndale, are in fact, ADDED to the text. That’s right! I said the verses were added. “Changing, adding, and/or removing” is an inevitable, unavoidable part of the translation process. When it comes to the position that you hold, that being KJV Only, I have to address it and call you out on it, but I do it in a kind and edifying way. I have ZERO issue with you if you want to use the KJ as your main translation. I can agree with you that the KJ is a good translation and agree that it makes Scripture memorization easier, but I draw the line there. I CANNOT and WILL NOT abide by this dogma of KJV Only, all of which is, in fact, MAN MADE! That’s right, KJV Onlyism is a cult! I know what some of you are thinking right now as you read this and quite frankly, I don’t care. As a brother in Christ, I want you to know that I respect you and your choice of Bible translation, I really do. I also love that you’re reading His word. I hold NO grudge against you. Paul tells Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:24 that “the servant of the Lord must not argue; but be gentle to all men, able to teach and patient.” You’re not the victim here, I just want you to understand that what you’re reading is NOTHING more than just a translation of the original languages of Hebrew, Aramaic and Koine Greek. That’s all the KJV is, a TRANSLATION. If you can understand the KJV and Elizabethan English, good for you, but for those of us who cannot understand nor speak the 17th century English, we go with a Bible translation that is in our own language, contemporary English. You also need to get with the times and quit blaming Zondervan and/or Westcott and Hort for what is wrong with the modern versions. The issue with W&H quickly faded upon the discoveries of ancient papyri about 100 years ago to being grossly outdated and unused over the last 40 years. You see, what is actually going on, through NO fault of our own, is language change. I get the SAME message and the SAME meaning in the versions I read, without the use of archaic and dead words, that you get in the KJV. The only difference is the words that are used. I’ll leave you with this to chew on: “Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will just be speaking into the air.” 1 Corinthians 14:9 NIV. What does that mean? It means, “edification requires intelligibility.”
