Some wildly uninteresting videos of my walks, wild camps, the family and any other random dull nonsense I film.
A tour of my pub shed!
After posting a video of my garden pub shed a little while ago, some people asked to see more of it so here's a follow up video.

A trip around Preston Park. Possibly my favourite of the parks we visit here on Teesside.
Ropner Park - Stockton on Tees - Tour & History

Another thrilling instalment of my walks around some of Teesside's best parks. This time I head to Ropner Park, near Hartburn. Possibly the prettiest of all the parks in the area.
Stewart Park - Middlesbrough - Tour & History

A brief insight into some of the history of one of most well known locals parks, Stewart Park. The area was originally home to Marton Hall, the residence of Henry Bolckow, which was built in 1858. Central Lodge was also part of Bolckow's estate. It was made up of many rooms, including a coach house and stables, a laundry and drying room, a dairy, and lodgings for the estate workers. Despite growing up just near here, I'd never been. Not sure why but we decided to take a look and we weren't disappointed!
St Mary's Church, Leake. The random church off the A19.

I've driven past this random church so many times and always wanted to know a bit more about it. If you're the same, then this video should scratch that itch!!
Semi wild camp.....plus drone footage over a WW2 decoy site on the North York Moors
Переглядів 454 місяці тому
Set out with Phil with the aim of wild camping on the North York moors at a spot I've camped at before near Cod Beck....that didn't go to plan but luckily we had a back up plan. Before camping we visited a ww2 decoy site so enjoy the footage!!
Day 7 - Robin Hoods Bay to Filey - Final stretch of the Cleveland Way
Переглядів 836 місяців тому
It's taken me a while but I finally got round to completely the Cleveland Way, Robin Hoods Bay to Filey. Despite having done very little training, I thought it would be great to attempt 25 mile walk with a 15kg backpack. Wild camped just outside of Filey, ran out of water, phone battery died but I did it. Tested me a bit this stretch but a great sense of accomplishment.
Wild Camp with Captain Rice near Osmotherley

What a cracking wild camp this was! I don't often put many of my wild camping stuff on UA-cam but I thought I would give it a go. Camped on the fringes of the North York Moors at a place called Codbeck near Osmotherley. Just the 2 of us, had a great laugh, talked about tents and cooking equipment a lot and had a couple of non-alcoholic beers!

Decided to get out now that spring is finally (just about) here and have a walk upto Roseberry Topping. Walked the back way from Gribdale gate and then back around via Percy Cross Rigg. About 6 miles or so.
Aber Falls Walk - North Wales

On our recent trip to Wales, during the Easter Holidays, we took a trip to Aber Falls. A stunning walk with the rewards being the waterfall at the end. Let me know what you think of the name change and intro!

That’s me btw
Ha! Even his son finds this funny and he doesn’t even know who that Jimmy guy is! (Yes, I am his son)
@@NoahAbbott-y8x You don't want to know who he was haha
I love it! Do more videos of your pub pls 😊
@@aidanmcculloch9794 I will do, not sure there'd be any interest but when I'm next in I'll do a video
Angle not Saxon and Cleveland not North Yorkshire.
@@heathpaulbarnes7066 cheers for taking the time out of your busy schedule to correct me
@@abbottsadventures No problem ime from an Angle decent and live in Cleveland, that's why our hills aren't called the Yorkshire hills and Angland is England not Saxland .
Of course you had to include the video of me on the tree 😂
Love this..and yes we always wonder about it when driving past :)Thanks !
Really enjoyed your Cleveland Way vids mate. Shame about the battery .I always carry a couple of battery packs now. Im similar to you in preferring to commentate on the scenery than sticking my mug om the selfie stick and waffling away. When I finished the Cleveland Way ..2 days later I did Filey to Bridlington .about 21 or 22 miles .best day's walking Ive done. Fantastic trip and well worth doing
Cheers mate, appreciate that
Good job building my own next week hope it’s as nice as yours
If I can do it, anyone can!
such a cute little squirell
Amazing photography, nuce video!
Thanks
Those stones are probably relics from ironstone mine...
I recognise your spot …can people definitely not see you? When there up on walks thanks
It's suprisingly remote and private
Nice camp lads good little spot too
Great video liked the music
I went to Osmotherly once to start the Lyke Wake walk. 22.00 we signed in at a chip shop, I think...
Can you camp next to the river and the car park?
You probably can but it's not the most discreet but I've seen people do it. I was only 10 mins walk away 😊
Brilliant video I love going there 👏
Great video!
Thanks!
hi Mr Abbott
haha
North wales in Surely the best!
Well done sir. Very nice.
Thank you kindly
I very much doubt there are 'loads better', you have done a really good job. Smashing little pub.
Cheers
Nice walk. The kids did well .ltd quite a track up to the top. Worth it for the views.
Ha
I love captain cook monument
This is going to be a unusual comment but I have a second hand Berghaus Telstar 8 tent which I put up in my garden in Ingleby Barwick. I live on Apsley way, but I cannot get it back in the bag. Do you have any tips or could you help me get it back in. I’ve tried so many ways but can’t do it. Thanks in advance.
Hi mate. Do you want to find me on Facebook, Jason Abbott, and I'll tell you how I do it
Beautiful! Love the scenery on our doorstep!
We're spoilt rotten!
Outstanding...Very Nice Indeed 👌
Cheers mate
you made best - have a good one,
Thanks
Great Video, thanks. Back in 2003 I did this in a 2WD Citroen Xantia!! I remember going over a step and from that point on I was committed to carrying on in the same direction as there was NO way I was getting back up it. Got a strange look from the farmer at the end of the track as I drove out through his yard. Great fun (if a little stupid!!)
Haha that's unreal! Braver than me!
@@abbottsadventures I was 21 and clueless, didn’t havre any one with me or any sort of plan, just decided to drive down the track to see where it went lol
Where can I get hold of a front bull bar like on your FL2? Cheers.
They're quite hard to get hold of now but I was lucky and someone on the fl02 group was selling it
Did that track last year with a few friends, good run, the rrutty bouncy bit at the top was fun
Brilliant that !! ihave a 4 wheel drive ssyangyong korando, i dont do anything like that in it, but im wondering if it could manage the more solid bit of that lane so i could get up and do a overnight wildcamp ? im sure i seen another of your vids a while back where you drove up somewhere and camped, all these areas are close to me as im only in Thornaby 👍
I'm just in Stainton mate so not far at all from you. You'd have no problem at all in the Korando I don't think. Yeah I love it up there, tend to go up quite often. If you want to tag along next time, I'll give you a shout
Oh dear 😂
Sunderland’s 4orm is great
Good win for Boro! Did I mention that there was extra detention next week 😅
😳
good vid bro keep it up fr/ for real
