Echo Lake to Mt. Tallac Hike. August, 2018
We took the Echo Lake water taxi to Upper Echo Lake. After hiking the Pacific Crest Trail through Desolation Wilderness for about 8 miles, we spent the night at Gilmore Lake. The next day, we finished the hike with a visit to Mt. Tallac and then down to the Tallac trailhead just off highway 89.

My seven year old son had his best fight yet with this 19" 2.5 pound Rainbow. The ice was over 3 feet thick and had a slushy layer about one foot under the surface where we almost lost him.

Perfect weather for a ride. A few Camp N Crawlers got together for a ride out of Virginia City, NV. The trip was great even though we had a guy get thrown off his quad and get two hairline fractures in his hip.

Looks like we have some future Camp N Crawlers in the making. I Learned how to ride my first motorcycle in this same spot 31 years ago. The old Honda Hills hasn't changed much.

Camp & Crawl ride from Boomtown in Verdi, NV. We had a total of 17 rigs for the 55 mile ride. Midway through the adventure, we stopped in Border Town for lunch. We encountered just about every type of riding terrain you can think of.

Camp & Crawl 2014. We started in Washington, CA and rode in the rain to Alleghany, CA and had lunch at Casey's Place. The ride was roughly a 60 mile round trip. Finished the trip up at the Halloween party at the Washington Hotel.

That is red lake. Red lake is about 4 or 5 miles north of capels
