Absolutely loved the new 2024 remake of the Nosferatu movie! Through out the movie we constantly see this simple heart shaped silver locket worn by Ellen's character, played by Lily Rose Depp. I've made this deep dive on the symbolism seen in the movie through this locket and lilacs. What I feel they represent and the foreshadowing they offer.
I will also go into the history of mourning jewelry and jewelry used as tokens of love, often seen in jewelry trends of the 1800's.
