We actually had to have it done for the old apartment block where I live and it was costly and inconvenient, but not as inconvenient as letting the house crumble under us .

To me, It's less about the fact that millionaires are out money and more on the lack of integrity of the company that was building it. They cut corners on the foundation, and it was discovered before anything deadly could have happened as a result. All in the name of saving a few $$$.
