An excellent crime drama and a super thriller, one of the best I have seen in 65 years. A stellar cast of British actors one or two I remember watching as a child.The acting was superb.I can't give this first class film less than 10/10

Good movie

Over 2 decades later and schools still dont have metal detectors. This movie is absolutely heartbreaking yet beautiful because of the closeness and shared love in the family. A true test of strength .

OMG who'd've thought ....!! NOT what I expected!! Anyone saw her in "The Other Side of Midnight" - A Best Selling, novel by Sidney Sheldon - Famous in the 70s. If you like Susan Sarandon, & haven't seen it, then check it out. It's even better than this one. This was a very cleverly written script!! In spite of the clues in between, one wouldn't guess the outcome!! A little tooo creepy for my blood, but I have to admit I was very impressed with the fact that it made sense, all added up, and yet I never guessed. WOW!! Definitely worthy of another👍. Susan Sarandon - This had to be good - RECOMMENDED!!

Wow! The beginning was like Deja-vu! “I called all our friends, her purse is here, her keys” Sounds like the Watts case. She seemed like such a sweet young lady, her big smile, just a happy woman. So heartbreaking! 💔 She seemed like a genuine happy, loving person who was so excited to be a mom 😢 The Watts case was similar but the women, very different. SW life and smiles, happiness were just a huge front of her reality for social media and the “Perfect life” when her authentic texts, character was the opposite of what she portrayed to be. As LP just seemed very genuine, her big smile, her character, etc- no social media at the time- so nothing she tried to show that wasn’t real.

If I were Janie/Jenny, I would need therapy the rest of my life 😵‍💫🫨🤯

My dad did this to me too. Took me from my mom. I thought my stepmom was my mom. Then my real mom kidnapped me back. I went through years of trouble. It's horrible to do this to a child. And my mother's mental health was damaged because of it.

He is a evil bastard he kidnap his kids and lie to his kids tell them their mother died it wasn't true. She should go to cops and tell them her husband kidnap her kid's. I relate to this woman in this movie my crazy dad kidnap my sister and I and he took us overseas. My mother found us and we were reunited with our mother again. My mother divorce my crazy dad . I hope movie has happen ending and she reunited with her kid's.

This movie.. life is painful, and these situations are so hard. It rips your heart out. The way the family showed all the facets of how they were each effected. This movie was well written.
