I played in praise bands for a long time. My observation is that most praise leaders don't have a solid theological background, or they have little regard for sound doctrine.

Answer... NO. A "Lutheran Church" can't have a Woman Pastor. Sola scriptura - we should be the one following this the most. Hence the trouble with the LCA/LCNZ (sadly)
The LCA is just a heterodox church. Once the LCA did away with Absolute Inerrancy in the 1980s it began the collapse of their doctrine

Your arguments are good and Scriptural. I’d like to see more about this topic in refuting specific arguments people make for these praise songs. For example, they say that the verse you cited mentions spiritual songs and argue that’s exactly what they are singing. Or they say that it doesn’t matter what we sing because God knows what’s in our hearts. Or a pastor even argued that it doesn’t matter that these songs are written by heretics to further their false teaching, because his people will interpret them correctly. They always seem to have an answer for any criticism of the songs.

Confessional lutherans believe that their soteriology is not ''synergistic'' (as it is of the most part of christians) as they believe that in the fall of Adam our free will for salvation ( = I, by myself, choose to do good, to love, to follow God's will and save myself) was completely (not in part) destroyed.
