Just writing my comment here before it blows up to something.

At The Central Coast (CC) Airshow , May 2022, we got to see the in-board weapons bay! It didn't happen at the Illawarra show, nor at Avalon, by the looks of this video. I'm wondering if this could be as a result of a sudden influx of CCP types just before the F35-A demo at the CC show?

I noticed the arrival of more than a couple of CCP types just before the F35-A demo 🇦🇺🇬🇧🇺🇲

aussies do the best f35 displays! in europe belgium does the best displays with their f16's and swiss with their f18's. cant wait for the belgiums to receive the f35 this year and see how they perform demos with it

I wasn't there as I didn't know the air show was on until after the event. But I can imagine that the lighting for my shots would not have been so ideal because the sun is shining from the other side. I can imagine myself snapping shots of the F-35. Still, it looks like a good demonstration.

I know these pilots are highly disciplined........but ya gotta know he/her was having a ton of fun!!

That was a nice, twisty low level display by Australia. Relaxed pace compared to the hair-on-fire, screaming high-speed, vertical climbs/hard rudder turns you see F-35's do at other shows. Understated elegance.

The F-35 wasn't designed to be an air superiority fighter but I always thought it was hilarious that anyone would seriously believe that a fighter jet as modern as the F-35 is "couldn't turn" and "couldn't maneuver". As I type this, the F-35 is the newest, most modern, most advanced, most recently-designed fighter jet manufactured. There is no doubt in my mind that an F-35A is as quick and as maneuverable as a single engine stealth fighter without thrust vectoring can possibly be.
