Entiendo que los katas van variando según la escuela, pero me gustaría hacer un comentario con todo respeto sobre la primera posición hacia el costado, son dos bloqueos simultáneos, el bloqueo de arriba si no me equivoco debe ser age uke, en cuyo caso el puño y antebrazo suben de abajo hacia arriba en posición 45 grados aprox. por encima de la cabeza, mientras el otro brazo bloquea en sotouke. veo bien las transiciones, pero durante la ejecución hay que poner atención en mantener la altura de la cadera y evitar el balanceo. Saludos

Very nice video. Too many people just teach or show Kata or bunkai , not enough are on Kihon or basics. My philosophy is simple, "when you think your basics are perfect, do them 1000 times more, then they may be decent in a few more years. " Glad I came across your video. Your Wado Ryu brethren.

I honestly cant visualize applications most of them.. But combination 1 is so rich in potential applications, I would say it's like the famous 1-2 in how many ways it could be seen, at a distance, against a grab or in the clinch, in itself or as a part of a longer sequence. I absolutely love this !!! The second combination is very interesting too. If the punch is done with a simultaneous lower kick it could be an interesting opener. Also in the original order, if the kick is directed to the bladder, it can be a very effective way of managing distance. Many possibilities too. The rest escape me for now, but maybe one day, after thinking about them for a few months, applications and possibilities will become clear Thank you very much for your videos, they provide a very clear window into a rich and varied landscape Excellent channel!

Reminds me of the days: Go Ho No Uke, Empi Roppu & Shi Ho No Ho , The Shino Katas 1-17 & Pinans, . Motobu Ha Shito-Ryu when Soke Kuniba was alive. There is also a grappling bunkai-oyo within GHNU. I remember doing this kata up & down a basketball court under Sensei Valverde (4th Dan) . Great work keep the spirit of Budo alive OUSS!
